got a call at short notice for a job from w10 to wimbledon.
i told customer £50 if under two hours.seems customer had
booked a bulgarian man and van but van was too small.
i agreed to do the move but one hour into loading the customer
told the driver that i had promissed that £50 was the maximum
she would have to pay.of course i reacted in my understated way
and told the driver to unload the goods at the pick up address.
anyway after a heated conversation customer agreed to pay
the correct amount.job lasted three hours but she only paid £65
when it should be £75.
to cap it off ,pauline(an actress who has worked alongside russell
crowe)is going to complain to everyone including the t.v.(probably
watchdog or cowboy companies).i wont worry too much but please
post me my £10 first pauline!!

I often joke about disgruntled ex’s or criminals booking me to help them take/steal items from someone elses address or lockup but something similar may have happened to someone who called me.
