“2.4 I have hired a Man and Van to get rid of my rubbish – can he have a permit?
No. As soon as you give your rubbish to another person or company and pay for them to take it away, it becomes trade waste and cannot be taken to the CRCs (Tips) for free. Trade waste must be taken to a transfer station where the waste can be weighed and paid for.”

However,most tips that allow vans class your rubbish as household waste if you own the van or you hire a van from a van hire company.When you book a man and van i would assume that if you load yourself and travel with the van then its household waste.Unfortunately i dont expect any time soon for councils to make the same assumption.

got a virus that redirects me to butterflysearch.net which took ages to get rid of using a combination of malwarebytes,zonealarm and avg which are all free.a coincidence where pagerank google chrome extension started adding adverts to any sites i look at around the same time meant i thought i still had the virus.have now turned off the extension until i find out how to disable the adds.
where did the virus come from? best guess from looking at my history is youtube.my daughter had been on film clips and pokemon videos.

Had a few customers forced to move because their landlord would not renew the lease.
There seems to be a suspicion that landlords are being offered more money from estate

If you are using someone else’s van you must insure that the van has
not been used in the last 6 months to tip more than 250kg.this seems to be some unofficial rule agreed between the council and the private contractors.dont expect to see this policy written anywhere on mertons
website.(where does that leave van hire?)

“If you are a resident with a van or trailer there is a restriction of up to 250kgs of waste brought in every 6 months, and a charge will be made to dispose of any waste in excess of this limit. For separated recyclables, no charge applies.”
