I can’t think of anything worse than shopping at Ikea on a Sunday.If you must then dont expect to find a parking space too easily.Also,if you book a van which is hourly then book it for about an hour after you plan to arrive.

It may be tempting to ask your man and van to refit your gas oven at your new place but if he has any sense he will refuse.If you have a leak ,or your flu is blocked or your oven is not burning properly i.e. carbon monoxide then he is in big trouble.Get advice from a corgi plumber or you landlord,or both.I personally will never reconnect someone elses oven although i see other man and vans offering this service.Ask if he is a Plumber.I doubt it.Plumbers are the laziest people in the world and don’t even like carrying a bag of tools and parts to your door,never mind a three seater sofa bed.

if your fridge-freezer is over 5ft 9 inches tall it will have to be transported on its side.If you do this then you should leave the appliance standing for 24 hours before turning on.If your Fridge Freezer is really expensive and you want to transport upright then make this clear and insist on a Luton van.

if you ever go near the premier inn on bath road they have one hour free parking and free tea or coffee at the Touchbase Meeting Rooms round the back.dont know how many times you could get away with just wanderering in.i was there for a legitimate reason.moving qantas wine store.

I have spoken to a few drivers who have been fined for driving through regent’s and hyde park.I must confess that i have also done the same thing and gotten away with it.I wont be doing it again.Both drivers have been caught in the last month.From reading up on the subject it is the metropolitan police who patrol the parks.The principal parks are Hyde Park ,St James’s Park ,Regent’s Park ,Richmond Park ,Bushy Park and Greenwich Park.Their non emergency number is 0300 123 1212.
Dont think you can drive through with an unmarked van.The Met will assume you are a business.
